FBN STAFF REUNION OF 2007
Every year, usually in April, the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) holds their annual convention. This consists of a Broadcast Engineering Conference where technical papers are given regarding current technology. Additionally, almost every manufacturer of any type of broadcast equipment is exhibited in the convention halls. The NAB convention is so large, typically hosting more than 100,000 attendees, it can only be held in a city that can swallow up that many people without crippling the town’s transportation and housing infrastructure. About the only city in the United States that can accommodate that many people at one time is Las Vegas. And Las Vegas has been the home of the NAB Convention for many years now.
The NAB show of 2007 also brought together some of the FBN alumni. Sixteen alumni were able to link up for a reunion. What follows are photographs of the attendees along with some of the memories that were shared.
